Privacy Policy
How we collect, use, share, and protect your information.
Last updated: June 25, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how LiquorSensor Inc, a Delaware corporation doing business as Reconcily.ai ("Reconcily", "we", "us"), collects, uses, and shares information when you use reconcily.ai and the Reconcily application (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account & contact data — name, email, organization, and authentication identifiers.
- Connected mailboxes — when you link Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, or any IMAP account, we access mailbox content (message metadata, bodies, and attachments) on a read-only basis to find receipts, invoices, and statements.
- Uploaded documents — receipts, invoices, statements, and similar files (images/PDFs) you upload or that we extract from your mailboxes.
- Financial records — bank/card feed files (CSV/OFX) you import, and the transactions, categorizations, and reconciliation results derived from them.
Information collected automatically
- Usage & device data — log data, IP address, browser/device info, and diagnostics used to operate and secure the Service.
- Cookies — strictly necessary cookies for sign-in/session. We use privacy-friendly, cookieless product analytics, and no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
2. How we use information
- To provide the Service — reading documents, matching them to transactions, flagging missing records, and producing audit-ready books and exports.
- To process documents with AI/OCR (see AI processing).
- To secure, maintain, debug, and improve the Service, and to communicate with you.
- To process payments and prevent fraud and abuse.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the contents of your mailboxes or documents for advertising.
3. AI / automated processing
To extract and categorize your documents, we send document text and images to AI and OCR providers acting as our processors (see Sub-processors). Your financial documents may therefore be processed by these providers solely to deliver the Service. Where a provider offers the option, we opt out of having your content used to train their models.
4. How we share information
We share information only with:
- Sub-processors that operate the Service under contract (Section 5).
- Your own team / accountant when you invite them or share an export.
- Authorities where required by law, or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Service.
- A successor in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to this Policy.
5. Sub-processors
We use the following sub-processors and keep this list current:
- AI / document extraction — Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Cloud (Document AI, Gemini).
- Cloud hosting & infrastructure — Vultr, Google Cloud Platform.
- Identity / sign-in — Google Cloud Identity Platform.
- Payments — Stripe.
- Content delivery & DNS — Cloudflare.
- Error monitoring — Sentry.
6. Security
We protect your data with encryption in transit and at rest, read-only mailbox access, least-privilege controls, and tenant isolation. Mailbox and bank credentials/tokens are envelope-encrypted and never stored in plaintext. See our Security page for detail.
7. Data retention & deletion
We retain your data while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations. You can request deletion of your data at any time; on account termination we delete or de-identify your content within 60 days, except where retention is legally required.
8. Your rights
We currently serve customers in the United States. You may request to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to withdraw consent, by emailing privacy@reconcily.ai. California residents have additional rights under California law — to know what we collect, to delete it, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information.
9. Financial-data note
Because Reconcily supports tax and bookkeeping workflows, we handle financial information in line with applicable financial-privacy obligations, including the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) and the FTC Safeguards Rule where they apply to our customers.
10. Where we process data
We operate in the United States and process your data there.
11. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
12. Changes
We may update this Policy; we will post the new date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice.
